      Lifeguard and Swim Instructor

      Feb 2015 - Jul 2017
      Lifeguard and Activities Staff

Collaborated with 16 lifeguards and 2 supervisors to ensure the safety of patrons in an indoor waterpark. I enforced rules, and provided excellent customer service. As I gained seniority, I assisted supervisors with training and orientation of new staff. During holiday weekends and throughout the summer I assisted the activities staff in organizing craft workshops for up to thirty children, and managing themed weekends.

    • Self Employed

      Jul 2017 - Sept 2018
      Private Swim Instructor

Created and managed a swim instruction business, using social media and word of mouth to advertise my services. I communicated with clients on a regular basis to schedule lessons. In order to ensure the safety and comfort of my students I created a bond with each of them. This bond allowed me to teach them intimidating skills, while getting a unique sense of their strengths and weakness. With their abilities in mind I customized lesson plans for each student. I effective managed my time and maintained my flexibility. Show less
