During this period, Major Comisky led the integration of cyber into various plans, setting the command’s strategies for cyber in support of Operations SPARTAN SHIELD, INHERENT RESOLVE, PROSPERITY GUARDIAN, ESCAPE STORM, IRON SWORD, and Central Command’s campaign and contingency plans and orders. He led the creation and annual update of the Cyber Prioritized Effects List, outlining the Commander’s cyber priorities and citing the effects to achieve in various plans, as well as the first Defensive Cyber Forces Employment Memo. Additionally, he led the integration of cyber effects into the President’s directed strikes on key targets, providing force protection via disruption of enemy command and control. In addition, he led the first real world cross organization MacDill Cyber Threat Working Group, enacting Cyber Protection Level three in response to Russian aggression, hardening our wing’s no fail nuclear mission. Furthermore, Maj Comisky led the Joint Communications Support Element migration expanding network capabilities for eight hundred joint users and 280 devices realigning the J6 mission focus and saving the Department of Defense $6M costs.
