Data Scientist | Python | SQL | Getting my hands dirty with Data Analysis, Machine Learning & Data Modelling 📈📊

  • Education

    • FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE, UPTU,LUCKNOW

      2007 - 2011
Bachelor’s Degree Electrical and Electronics Engineering B.Tech

Activities and Societies: Participated in many Debate Competitions. College FEST organizer. Final Year Project: “TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM USING PLC” using LADDER LOGIC PROGRAMMING. PLC is a Programmable Logic Controller that can be viewed as an industrial computer. It accepts data from sensors, executes the user program stored in the memory and gives o/p to the external devices connected. For programming we used Ladder Logic Programming using the CODESYS s/w. Studied Electronics and Communication as my major, and Computer Science as the minor.

    • WorldQuant University

      2018 - 2018
Certification with Honors Data Science 95%

Activities and Societies: MOOC It was a three months course in Data Science with Python covering all major aspects and quite challenging mini projects.

      Sept 2013 - Mar 2017
      Software Engineer

Technologies Used:✔️ C✔️ Perl✔️ SQL✔️ PL/SQL✔️ Shell Scripting✔️ UnixISU Deals:I worked in Financial Domain, in the Deals(Global Deals, Mergers, Acquisitions, Bonds, Equity, Company Deals) project. ➡️ Developed application where Financial Deals raw data was fetched using SQL and PL/SQL, and manipulated data using C.➡️ The process was automated using Shell and Perl jobs, for clients to use latest processed data by 90% and increase yearly revenue by an estimated $2,000,000.Description:In this project, the raw deals data is calculated. The raw data is collected in collection database as deals and then the deals data is being calculated and modified. The processed data is then updated in the production database which is used and viewed by the clients. This is an automated project where all time processing between the collected data and production data is maintained. My responsibilities included-➡️ Exploring and Gathering new requirements.➡️ Development from the scratch, mainly in C, Perl, SQL and Unix shell scripting Technologies.➡️ Performing necessary testing according to the given requirement. ➡️ Debugging and fixing production issues.➡️ Automating the project by scheduling the processing in Unix cron jobs. Mar 2017 - May 2020

Technologies Used:✔️Python and Data Analysis: requests, json, Pandas, Numpy, openpyxl, XLRD, matplotlib✔️Machine Learning: sklearn --> Random Forest, kNN, Logistic Regression, Naive Bayes, featureextraction --> TFIDFVectorizer, model_selection --> GridSearchCV, RandomizedSearchCV✔️UNIX✔️MS Excel✔️JIRA✔️SQL Leadership➡️ Leading software development team to develop products that efficiently solve the challenges that is impacting business.➡️ Interfacing with customers to receive valuable product feedback.➡️ Collaborating with other analysts & department management to meet the company’s reporting and analytical needs.Current Project: Jira Ticket Automation➡️ Developing auto-JIRA assignment Recommendation Engine by analyzing past assignment trends and predicting the right assignee using random forest and NLP algorithm - TFIDF Vectorization.➡️ This streamlined the assignment process, reducing the manual efforts by 80%.Past Projects:✔️ Udeploy Agent Management➡️ Developed a mechanism to have UCD agent’s status. If down, do RCA on server, bring agent UP and generate reports, using Python and SQL.➡️ This reduced 3 weeks process to 4 hours, plus ensured on-time deployment.✔️ SVN Customization➡️ Developed and customized SVN repository pre and post commit hooks using Python, which helped application teams across enterprise track the activity on their repository.✔️ Separation of Duties Reporting➡️ Developed a process to verify and generate violation reports using Python & SQL, which restricted employees to have only the required access levels.➡️ This prevented severe security data breaches by 100%, and bagged us a Team Excellence Award. Team Excellence Award Wells Fargo Nov 2017 Wells Fargo being a bank needs to have high security levels in place. To achieve that it needs to make sure that all employees have only required levels of access. Tracking that manually was a havoc, with increasing number of employees. So we Developed a process to verify and generate violation reports using Python & SQL, which restricted employees to have only the required access levels. This prevented severe security data breaches by 100%, and bagged us a Team Excellence Award.

RLL Project Winner(Held 2nd Position) Wipro Technologies Jun 2012 RLL is Induction Project Competition for all Freshers. We had to create a project in C language where we had to fetch data from SQL and manipulate the fetched data using C. So we worked on the requirements, finished it before time and took that extra step of presenting it in a PPT, with test cases and outputs/logs. Held 2nd position out of 70+ participants. This was a super learning phase and helped in improving future live projects.
