  I worked as a WordPress Developer/Designer on multiple sites with one going live and another nearing completion. I was able to learn some Bootstrap during my time here and had a lot of fun with it. I also worked with Visual Composer (now known as WPBakery) and had training in SEO and Google Analytics. In addition to that, I’ve successfully completed fixes and updates on complex sites (including back end code changes) as well as training for clients on how to use their new sites. At one point, I was tasked with decreasing the page load speed of the company site and some research on Google's PageSpeed Insights tool. I was to complete this in a day and was successful in decreasing the load speed by almost 3 seconds as well as improving the PageSpeed Insights score by roughly 20-25 points.   As a member of the development team, I have been involved in the maintenance, updates, and expansion of the Agents of Discovery Mission Maker web application (mm.agentsofdiscovery.com) using the MVC pattern. I have also played a role in the management and improvement of the company's mobile app, which utilizes the Mission Maker API.In addition to these responsibilities, I have taken the lead on managing and directing changes to the company website (www.agentsofdiscovery.com), as well as overseeing all UI/UX aspects of our projects. I work closely with team members, including artists, management, and customer success, to ensure that our products are of the highest quality.I am also responsible for conducting daily SCRUM meetings for the development team and participating in project management and planning efforts. I am proud to have contributed to the transformation of our product from a buggy and outdated platform to a streamlined and user-friendly experience. Show less
