  Assigned to the training department, I would mainly help out with active shooter training in acting out scenarios and drills for the sheriff's office. I also participated in a couple of ride-alongs in which I was able to respond to over a dozen calls with a deputy--learning and observing law enforcement procedures of the Escambia County Sheriff's Office.

My main responsibilities were to look for anything abnormal or out of place, and to notify my team to leave the scene if it ever became unsafe.
