  I supervised all aspects of circulation including hiring and training students for the circulation desk, basic reference, interlibrary loan, and reshelving. This is a Southern Association of Colleges and Libraries accredited graduate level research library. Also, I gave input on picking out the first computer software program for the library to best suit the circulation department's needs.   Purchased most monographs, serials, media, and replacement items using an Innovative library computer system. Some purchases were electronic while others were on site. I searched extensively on the internet using sites such as Alibris.com and Borders. I interacted with the Head of Acquisitions and Serials Manager and liaison librarians to establish orders. Then, I set up a temporary bibliographic record for each item, sent some orders such as Blackwells electronically and checked them in when the items arrived.
