      I was trainee at the Netherlands embassy in Brasilia, and I conducted (field) research on the implementation of the Treaty on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons between Brazil and the Netherlands. My research resulted in a manual with best practices for the implementation of the treaty. My supervisors considered it a successful dissertation, and it subsequently led to my graduation at the Hague University of Applied Sciences.Other activities: Supporting our consular staff in day-to-day activities, attending meetings and conferences on behalf of the embassy, and visit Dutch detainees in Brazil.
