  Fort Bend ISD Education Foundation June 2000– PresentExecutive DirectorInnovative and self-motivated Executive Director responsible to implement and oversee all aspects of the strategic plans, development plans. including the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors and business partners while writing grants to outside Foundations. Directed all fundraising activities, which include an annual Golf Tournament, Sugar Shindig, Gala and Bike Ride, annual campaign, grant writing, and business partnerships. Facilitating activities with a 40-member board of directors, and sub committees, emphasizing collaboration, team building and strategic planning. Managing the Foundations bookkeeping, accounting, endowment. human resources, hiring, training, reviewing and continued engagement with staff.Administering Grants to Teachers/Schools Program. Presenting grant writing workshops to the teachers and staff in FBISD. Liaisons with the FBISD Superintendent and executive management team. Responsible for implementation of the communications plan, writing or reviewing all publicity produced for the media on behalf of the Foundation, producing e-newsletters, annual reports, managing the website and social media updates. Developing and revitalizing marketing materials.Top Achievements:• Significantly increased and consistently maintained gross annual revenues.• Accountable for the implementation and administration of business partnership program that provides additional revenue sources outside of conventional funding.• Secured a one-million-dollar donation which enabled FBISD to provide portable classrooms for the students displaced after Hurricane Katrina.• Executed and managed a $15.7-million-dollar donation for computer programming classes in Fort Bend ISD.• Honored that the Fort Bend Education Foundation was ranked 2nd in its revenue division among all other education foundations nationwide.
