It has been the setting for countless movies and TV series over the years and features three restaurants, a cocktail and high tea lounge, two bars and over 6,500 m2 of meeting and banquet space.

      Appointed Catering Manager of the 5-star Pan Pacific Auckland, the largest hotel function and banquet operation in NZ, responsible for both the sales and operations. Carlton Hotels later purchased the property and re-branded it.

      Transferred with Carlton Hotels to their to new Sydney property in July 1996 as Food & Beverage Manager. Returned to Auckland in October 1998 to take on a similar role but for a significantly bigger property.The Carlton Hotel Auckland, opened in 1990 and located in downtown Auckland, is now re-named the Rendezvous Grand Hotel and is New Zealand's largest hotel with 452 stylish guest rooms and suites. Until recently, it had NZ’s largest hotel Ballroom catering for 600 people sit-down dinners with and 15 modern meeting rooms in total. Its other Food and Beverage operations were extensive with a Café Restaurant, Katsura Japanese Restaurant, an Executive Club Lounge and the Atrium Lobby Lounge.The Carlton Crest Hotel Sydney is located at the southern end of Sydney’s Central Business District, Darling Harbour and China Town; it is now re-named the Novotel Sydney Central Hotel and has 251 tasteful guest rooms and suites. It features the historic Field House Restaurant and Bar, a 600 space car park, a Pool & Fitness Centre and an extensive Function Centre catering for up to 350 guests. Show less
