      September 4 2018, I began my new career as an Engineer III Assistant Construction Services Branch Chief with Prince William County Public Works. Our role as a department is to provide support for a variety of county projects including stormwater maintenance, stream restorations, drainage improvements, and various parks/transportation improvement projects. Furthermore, we assist in the procurement of supplies and equipment needed for the various construction projects.Here at the county, I have multiple job obligations where I will briefly mention. I am the Land Surveying Party Chief where I have duties including; Overseeing daily surveying operations, property corner search, establishing control stations, running differential levels, surveying existing topographical conditions, as-built newly constructed projects, construction stake-out, GPS work, and research land records.In conjunction with land surveying, I am a construction project manager with responsibilities including; Project duration and revenue tracking, project quantity take-off, cost estimating, approving shop drawings, processing payment applications and change orders, and construction project coordination. To conclude, I am very happy and excited to be part of this professional organization. We, as Public Works staff, pledge to continue to build public confidence, conquer all challenges, and demand the best of ourselves.
