  At LCJ Engineers, I undertook and was responsible for a wide variety of structural, civil and project management projects for clients of diverse backgrounds including residential, commercial, industrial, mining, infrastructure and educational developments. I guided projects from an early stage through to completion including - scoping and costing, preliminary design, detailed design and documentation oversight, coordination, and site supervision. Structural design experience included the design of ‘tilt-up’ and portal framed industrial and commercial properties, steel framed mine and refinery facilities, single storey and multiple storey masonry and concrete buildings and timber framed residential projects. I gained extensive design experience in dealing with cyclonic wind loadings.Design experience of a civil nature includes detailed design of commercial car parks, design of pavements, cantilever and sheet pile retaining wall design and detailed level studies for disable access and egress.Site supervision experience includes extensive supervision of all aspects of structural projects designed in house and by others, and aspects of civil projects including proof roll and ground condition inspections.
