  My role was to evaluate, procure & then deploy the nationwide Prepaid Calling Card plateform for origination and termination of NWD and IDD calls. PCCS sytem was negotiated with Unified Commuincation (Singapore) and brought into the operations in three major POPs/Tranists in a record time of 2 months.Apart from PCCS i was responsible for the Deployment and O&M of the 15K pre-paid payphones deployed through out the country.   Deployment & Operations of LDI network in 15 city POPs after the deregularization of the telecom policies in Pakistan. Stae of the art VoIP & IN network to handle the traffice upto 50M minutes (scalable upto 80M minutes) per month. Cost effective project deployment and its operations were the area where i used my expertise to bring in profi within 8 months of its operations.

  JDs as head of department includes the pre-sales activities like design (HLD/LLD) customized WAN solutions for enterprise and carriers and then leading the projects of these matured accounts. Design activities includes Wimax (RAN), IP/MPLS (core), VDAT/DVB (access), Class-IV & V (voice), FTTX (access), Data hosting centers, voice interconnects etc etc. More than 250 major enterprise & carriers/LDI/LL operators are on Wateen network.Network Design Enforcement function also falls in my domain. This function ensures that the LLD is deployed in the network (RAN & IP/MPLS Core) according to the Planning teams guidelines.Apart from the main JDs i am also managing the central Engineering Division staff technical & soft skills trainings with a two member trainers team which are delivering the training sessions twice a week. In current role in Wateen Telecom established the nation wide structure of Service Deleivery & Support network for 4G Wimax technology. Managed operations from scratched to a 60K broad band consumers and 2500 enterprise/corporate links on the network. Apart from wimax SDS, DVB last mile fiber connectivity has been provided. Services provided like broad band internet, VPN, VoIP, on-line gaming etc.Holding the same role for FTTX services and managed the SDS of around 10K customers on HFC network and prevailing the services of cable TV, voip and internet.Recently in Mar i have been assigned a task of Customer Engineering, where my role is to develop the carrier and enetrprise solutions and their project management. Solutions includes dark fiber, last mile fiber, wimax, ISM bridges connectivity 7 solution son satellite terminals of DVB. Before Wateen i used to work in an LDI company WiseComm which had a LDI operations in Pakistan. Here i enjoyed the position of Country Manager Technical for operations and projects. Served in Wise Comm and GT (copany acquired by Wise Comm) for 8 years where i have been managing the payphones networks and managing the hardware repair lab.On a small scale i have also got the experience of managing customer services and the help line in Wateen and Wise Comm.Remained involved on strategic level on decsion making of planning, projects & operations throug out my carrier.
