As the Logistics Operations/Project Manager for the U.S. Air Force Central Command's "Gateway," I was responsible for managing an 80-vehicle fleet and supervising a team of 17 logisticians. I led and trained my team to transport 50,000 military personnel and 5 million pounds of cargo throughout Kuwait for forward deployments to Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, we coordinated the logistics to airdrop 120 tons of life-sustaining supplies and enabled 24-hour drone security for forward-deployed forces. In addition, I coordinated resources for a $2 million building and vehicle storage compound restoration project with vendors, contractors, and senior management. In addition, I lead a project to for a $120,000 government car wash retrofit and evaluated vendor proposals to determine the most effective value for an 847-vehicle fleet. Using the 5-step Six Sigma methodology, I audited and inspected logistical practices and assets to identify opportunities for improvement. I assessed nonconformance and devised corrective action plans for 47 mission-degrading procedures. In addition, I directed four Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives to enhance the safety and quality of a 64-person work center, resulting in a 20% reduction in wasted labor in two sections while maintaining scope. Lastly, I demonstrated my leadership and emergency management abilities by successfully conducting six emergency management exercises for the 45,000 employees of the joint base. Show less As a Logistics Project Manager, I have a proven track record of executing successful operations under pressure. I led the logistics for the largest noncombatant evacuation operation ever conducted by the U.S. Air Force, providing transportation and supplies for 14,000 Afghan refugees within 72 hours. Additionally, I played a crucial role in COVID-19 relief efforts in New York City, Boston, and Philadelphia, procuring transportation and medical supplies for hospitals throughout the Northeast. Using my expertise in demand-based scheduling, I constructed assignments and shifts for 58 workers based on their availability and skill sets. For example, I have led 12 logistics coordinators supporting 6,300 international participants in the largest mobility exercise conducted by the Air Force. Additionally, I have analyzed metrics like on-time delivery, cost per mile, and carrier performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. I've optimized delivery times and reduced expenses by 15% by developing and implementing transportation solutions. As a competent problem-solver with an eye for detail and a drive for success, I am committed to positively impacting the logistics industry. Show less As an Air Force Honor Guard Program Manager for large-scale events, I was responsible for reviewing and analyzing current program processes to identify areas for improvement.
