      Inventory Specialist

Provided quality assurance for inventory reports submitted to The University of Texas Office of Accounting. When I arrived the position had been unfilled for more than 6 months and the office was receiving a large volume of complaints related to the delays in processing request that had been created. In addressing the backlog, I discovered an exceptionally high error rate in the submitted reports and learned that the office had not conducted inventory training for departmental contacts in more than three years. At my initiative, I created a series of trainings that resulted in a substantial drop in the error rate of the submitted reports. Show less
