  Long-term special assignment representing the department in upgrade/replacement of multiple systems. Department liaison/subject matter expert for telecommunications systems including 911 customer premise equipment, ALI database management services and legacy selective router upgrade as part of an overall NG9-1-1 implementation strategy. Also represent the department for upgrade/replacement project for computer aided dispatch systems, console equipment and ancillary systems. Assist with requirements/functional specification development, advocate for 911 in technical procurements and lead change management, project milestone communications, internal training and testing efforts. Lead the Next Generation Systems team, a group of operations employees who will serve as subject matter experts across a 24/7/365 shift-work environment.
