      Masters Critical and Creative Writing

      Activities and Societies: Student Representative for Contemporary Literature I followed a mixed discipline Masters programme which involved writing both critically and creatively. I enjoyed our Publishing Project module most where we had the opportunity to meet many authors, publishers and literary agents to investigate how the industy works. My dissertation was based on the paratextual influences on Agatha Christie's detective fiction.

      I ensure that students with additional needs have access to the materials they require in a format which is accessible to them. I also head up the Digitisation Service which hosts digitisations of key texts on the electronic reading lists. Front line customer service provision, assisting all visitors with their interaction with library services such as: database, article and book searches; issue, renewal and return of items; stock location and reservation; research assistance; money handling; dealing with problems; general clerical duties; ICT and printing enquiries; answering enquiries in person, by telephone and online.
