      Activities and Societies: Liberal Arts education focused in Spanish literature, grammar and conversation with a double major in History/Political Science in courses including US Southern History, World History, International Relations, Modern African History, and others. Only attended 2 years and transferred to Virginia Commonwealth University to finish studies.

      Activities and Societies: Studying and experiencing Spanish culture and language in the city of Valencia. First spring semester at University of Virginia's Spanish intense program in Valencia, Spain concentrating in courses such as translation and interpretation, literature and composition. These courses are entirely taught in Spanish with a "no English allowed" law within the entire building.

      ● Overall management of the second largest club in the organization. ● Supervision of 2 full time coordinators, and the recruiting and hiring of 12-15 part time Youth Development Professionals.● Execution and balance of Club budget of over $300,000 for the entire operation of the site.● Responsible for overall operations of the club, implementation of agendas and goals to meet expectations of the organization as well as fulfilling grant requirements.● Management of program staff and the implementation of programs to achieve our priority outcomes of academic success, character & leadership, and healthy lifestyles.● Initiating, maintaining, and improving relationships with community partners such as PB&J Fund, Social Services, Habitat for Humanity, Albemarle County Public Schools,CAYIP, Wild Rock, Front Porch, Free Book Bus, Nike, the Music Resource Center, Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, and the Blue Ridge Health Department.● Handling current and potential member inquiries, discussions with parents, membership database configuration, monetary transactions, and English/Spanish interpretation.● Maintenance and overall care of the three buildings, routine IT maintenance, outdoors upkeep, janitorial and point of contact for all service providers.● Working hand-in-hand with the local public schools where children attend and with the community where the club is located.● Volunteer management involving students from several different departments from the University of Virginia and other community partners.● Successfully matched all club members with holiday gift sponsors for 3 years in a row supporting 180-200 children and their families; over 215 children matched for 2020.● Mentored and advised the 2020 Youth of the Year applicant that represented BGCCVA at the state competition level.● Partnered with the Latino Health Initiative to provide COVID-19 vaccines to the Latino community and becoming the most vaccinated latino community in the state of VA.
