Continued in a full-time, in-house role in the translation department for four years, before transitioning to a freelance remote translation position.

  Freelance Japanese-English Patent Translator

  Began a freelance relationship with Tokyo ACTi in 2013, with a focus on translating not only Office Actions, but also various documents pertaining to all stages of the appeal process, patent opposition litigation, patent invalidation litigation, oral hearing briefs, etc. Currently translating proceedings in extended litigation related to a globally important pharmaceutical invention.
