  The ZIMCO International Corporation internship on Power Systems and IoT spanned 8 weeks, with the following sessions:- Week 1: Introductory session.- Week 2: Discussion on job markets across engineering fields and strategies for job-hunting. Advice is given to explore diverse domains.- Week 3: Guidance on creating and enhancing LinkedIn profiles for professional networking and job opportunities.- Week 4: Learning outcomes:---Understanding of Grid Stations and their components.---Differences between Grid Stations and substations.---Various sections of Grid stations (Generation Station, Lightning Arrestors, Isolators, VCB, CT, Step- down Transformer).---Types of Transformers (Single Phase, Three Phase) and connections of High and Low voltage winding.- Week 5: Introduction to Machine Learning, programming languages, and sensors (Node-MCU, ESP-8226, PIR sensors, IR sensors, ultrasonic sensors). Internal circuitry and the mechanism of circuit breakers were also discussed.- Week 6: Discussion on Electrical Panel Designing, components used (din rail, MCB, MCCB, RCCB, indication lights, voltage protection relays, overload relays), and differences between relays and contractors.- Week 7: Exploration of automation and PLCs, including input/output modules, PLC manufacturers, and industrial applications.- Week 8: Further discussion on PLCs, digital and analog I/Os. 收起
