  I completed an extensive application process and secured a summer job with Camp America. After the 4 month placement I was invited to return and offered leadership roles the following summer. Responsibilities • Responsible for the health, safety and wellbeing of summer campers on 24 hour basis • Taught Arts & Crafts including drawing, painting and model making • Acted ‘in loco parentis’ for the summer campers throughout their stay • Qualified Life Guard and supervised campers whilst swimming in lakes and rivers • Organised games, storytelling and evening activities as well as supervising day trips Show less
