  The SME Developers Council has been established in the mid of 1433 AH (2012), when a number of active bodies in the SME sector development met together and agreed to establish an independent entity to represent all other segments in this sector and play the role of coordination and integration to find the structure suitable for the growth of small enterprises.

  Kafala Program (for Small & Medium-sized Enterprises Financing), in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, represented by Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) and all banks operating in the Kingdom, aims to guarantee finance for establishing, developing or enhancing productive Small & Medium-sized Projects. The program seeks to promote economic growth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where Small & Medium-size Enterprises are considered fundamental units in all sectors. There is no doubt that the financing targeted facilities would work on the stability and development of these facilities, which contributes to expanding job opportunities and strengthen the production of the Saudi economy.
