  2017 :- Inspected the construction for the Long Hill Road Reconstruction in Guilford Connecticut. Project included full depth roadway reconstruction, drainage reconstruction, and a new 3- cell precast culvert. Followed the Municipal Manual guidelines and maintained the 5 Volumes of Books used to document and report progress of the project. Referenced the Form 816 to assist in the determination for payment limits and construction methods. Intimately involved with public relations for homeowners and business owners during the entire construction period. 2016 :-Inspected the construction for the East Hartford Multi-Use Trail. Monitored and reported on the contractors work daily. Made computations and generated progress payments. Followed DOT MP&T standards for single lane closures, road closures and exit ramp closures. Problem solved unforeseen conditions/put out fires on a daily basis. 2015: - Act as a special inspector responsible for various special inspections including: floor flatness/levelness, spray on fireproofing adhesion strength pull test, intumescent paint Dry Film Thickness test, pull test for ceiling anchors, and Windsor Probe Test. Material test soils, asphalt, concrete, mortar, grout; also masonry block walls and brick veneer assemblies. Perform site walks with building inspector for project conformance prior to concrete placement. Monitor and report that rebar installation conforms with approved shop drawings. Show less

  Manage multiple Capital Improvement Projects that ranged in size and type such as Lead Service Replacement Project, Water Meter Replacement Project, Essex Street Utility Rehabilitation and Road Reconstruction Project, and the Upper Broadway Utility Rehabilitation Project. Formulated the Cities Pavement Management Plan using the PASER scale and Esri Survey 123 Form. Assisted in the Cities yearly CIP planning and deliverables. Followed procurement guidelines for soliciting quotes for projects, materials, and equipment utilizing State Contract and MAPC. Managed the yearly Stormwater Management project which included IDDE investigation and Stormwater Sampling. Reviewed and provided comments in support of DPW standards on Special Permits and Building Permits. Held Public Meetings for upcoming construction projects.
