  Retrofitting of numerous food waste bio digester units into galley plate houses and pot wash areas. Surveying vessels for installation taking into account public health regulations, environmental regulations, SOLAS ship construction requirements etc. Managing an installation team of mechanical and electrical engineers and ratings to achieve desired installations. Managing expectations of stakeholders on board the vessels. Acting as subject matter expert for OEM's and third party contractors. Managing the on board environmental compliance within international regulations and company policy. Implementing, reviewing and continuing to develop an environmentally sustainable culture with the multinational crew working on board. Taking charge of the entirety of ships power plant (Medium Speed Engines up to 16MW), plant auxiliary equipment, water production plant, and sewage plant systems for 8 hours per day as part of a watch keeping system. The senior member of the watch with a Junior Engineer and Motorman to manage.
