  Reporting to the Logistics Senior Manager, I was responsible for the pre-series production and logistics of Volkswagen and Audi models for three plants within FAW-Volkswagen, a joint-venture between Chinese FAW and German Volkswagen Group, comprising the main activities of: - project management, including production program definition and implementation; - material planning and warehouse management; - technical changes implementation; d) technical information systems - Bill of Material, MRP, JIT.   Reporting to the Logistics Manager, I lead a 23-employee team which has two main tasks:-to guarantee inventory accuracy and level according to predefined corporate KPIs by enforcing the cycle counting program for 12,000+ items, by monitoring the logistical BoM and by maintaining and assessing parameters necessary to a proper material planning in SAP.-coordinate the introduction of technical changes to the products in the assembly lines, aiming a proper phase-in and out of materials, a accurate material planning hence zero-obsolete. Show less Reporting to the Logistics Manager, I was in charge of two main logistics processes in the plant:-Productive and non-productive material planning and inbound operation, comprising around 5.000 items to fulfill an annual production volume of 200.000 vehicles, corresponding to an inventory of approximately USD 100 million. - Pre-series production logistics, comprising planning and executing the pre-series production program and material planning for small model-year changes and product face-lifts. Since late 2014 I am in charge of pre-series production, material planning and technical changes management for two major projects: the new Golf and the Audi A3. Additionally I have a central role in coordinating project activities with multi-functional teams within the organization, having also important interfaces concerning process and material planning with three major Volkswagen and Audi plants abroad.
