  After university, I decided to move abroad to Asia's world city, Hong Kong, and to take a year to spend some time following a passion of mine. Horse riding has been with me since a very young age and spending one year developing my own skills and passing my knowledge on to riders of all ages was an extremely rewarding experience. My tasks amongst many others included:- Providing lessons, training and coaching in a variety of equine disciplines- Designing riding and classroom lessons appropriate for each students’ age, skill level and knowledge base- Maintaining a calm and stress-free environment for animals and students so that learning and enjoyment did not suffer because of high intensity scenariosDuring this time I also completed three stages of equestrian examinations within a time span of 8 months (BHS Stage 1, BHS Stage 2, BHS Preliminary Teaching Test) Show less
