Develop the first model to accurately identify the Earth Signature of mobile towers on the radio spectrum, as it would be perceived from space by a hypothetical advanced civilization. This venture pioneers the exploration of our technological footprint in the cosmos and lays the groundwork for envisaging potential communication pathways with extraterrestrial intelligences.

This was my final year project, the project title was: Determination of the Natural Radioactivity Levels in Monazite, Zircon and Beryl Minerals. The experimental determination of ionizing radiation levels in monazite samples, zircon and beryl was the main goal of this research. The samples used are available at the National Geology Museum. Regarding the experimental part, a scintillator (NaI(Tl) )was usedfor the detection of gamma radiation. After evaluating the ionizing radiation levels of thesamples, the following results were obtained: for effective dose by monazite samplesthey are in the range of 17.43 mSv/year to 163.11 mSv/year. For zircon samples the valuesEffective dose averages are in the range of 2.37 mSv/year to 3.33 mSv/year. For the caseof beryl, the effective dose of all samples are below 2 mSv/year. The radiological risk for workers, associated with exposure to monazite as an example, using the second sample with an effective dose of 163.11 mSv/year, this radiation can induce to every 100 thousand people, 897 cases of cancer incidence per year. However, values cannot be ignored. low ionizing radiation of zircon and beryl samples due to stochastic effects. Show less

Coordinator, organizer and tutor of the first event of DARA BIG DATA hackathon inMozambique, it was held at Eduardo Mondlane University. In this hackathon, we used radar data provided by the European Space Agency (ESA) Sentinel 1 Mission to identify flooded regions. We performed this using image segmentation and k-means clustering.
