In May 1998, January 2000, and August 2002 respectively, Jiangsu Salt Industry School, Lianyungang Ocean School, and Lianyungang College of Chemical Technology were merged into the institute, In March 2009, the institute was accredited by the State Council to determine and approve the qualifications of Master’s degree.
