      I coordinated an interdepartmental team. I streamlined and organized processes, ensuring a more organized and effective work environment. I also acted as a liaison between management and employees, addressing and resolving work-related problems. I oversaw marketing of community initiatives, jobs, and job fairs through press releases, press conferences, and other outreach methods. H2D Holistic Human Development Consortium is a 7 member community transformation partnership. It involves a: ( CDC non-profit organization, a Community Development Center, Workers Union (with plan for apprentice), Construction Company, and a membership drive for a Credit Union. The Center functioned as a resource center for useful information (jobs, housing and food assistance..ect) They needed more efficient organization for better continuity, so I came up with a way to coordinate a better working relationship between them.. The Action: I became the one person every member of each department/subcommittee and or organization under H2D came to for archiving consortium documents and records. Every action came to and through me and I decided what to do with it and how and whom should handle it. I also kept track weekly progress of every action and milestone. I also organized efficient methods for saving space in office and for easy access for senior personnel. The result: Every person and part of H2d became worry-free of what to do with paper work and remembering where everything was or placed, therefore creating stress free work environment. Progression was able to be tracked and information accessed in a timely manner creating a more efficient H2D. Then helpers were given to me and I began to delegate. Show less

I also coordinate management conferences with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances. I ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements. I also prepare and update human resource policies and procedures. Land Bank Builders the construction company had trouble keeping track of their finished work or the progression of it. The person that knew what pictures to take was busy bidding on future contracts and working some of the jobs to ensure quality of work was standard and to keep budget low. The Action: I took my personal camera and started taking pictures of their work at every site and creating a portfolio of their work. Result: I became LBB’s progress tracker, employee attendance and photo person at each site. My communication skills shown during that resolution, I started being introduced to each of the clients or person paying for the job as the point of contact for all their administrative and organization needs. My name and number became part of their clients’ phone list. Show less
