Working with faculty and academic departments on initiatives involving teaching first-year students, developing self-regulated learning skills in students, designing hybrid/online/flipped classroom models, and designing engaged service learning experiences remain a central focus of her work.       Primary instructor for a large-lecture introductory psychology course. This is a 4 credit hours course with a lab component that meets the social sciences core requirement at our university. My research seeks to understand how motivational factors support or thwart the self-regulation of learning. Primary instructor of PSY 215: Experimental Methods, which is the introductory research methods course for psychology majors at the University of Kentucky. This was a 4 credit hour course with a weekly lab. I had supervised the teaching assistant running labs for this course.
