      Managed research group of PhDs, MS, Forest Engineers and technicians (34 in total) in developing silvicultural prescriptions and clonal deployment for one of the largest forest companies in South America (Arauco). The extent of responsibilities included managed forest areas in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay, providing guidelines for operations in 6 subsidiaries and five nurseries. Manage the silviculture research group, including programs for pine management, eucalyptus management, stand nutrition, weed control, ecophysiology, remote sensing, soils and environmental modeling. Supervised 16 people, between forest engineers, masters, PhDs and forest technicians. Provided silvicultural recommendations for Arauco in Chile, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.
