      Within this role, I am currently managing 2 teams across the operation including Tournament Co-ordinators and the full time Operation Team members. Overseeing the entire operation and tournaments my main responsibilities are: Ensuring that the operation runs smoothly, communicating with the Sales Team, Head of Golf Operations and Head Professional. This is whilst overseeing corporate groups ensuring that the tournament co-ordinator on the day is communicating effectively to all areas of the operation. Maintance of our buggy fleet of 40 buggies to ensure that the repairs are completed and regular audits are completed. During the summer period I am responsible for ordering extra buggies in and to ensure our addition summer fleets are booked and paid for during the busier periods. Ordering, stocktaking, rostering and managing team members are my main duties day to day outside of overseeing the operation. Since taking on the role, I have implemented Online Registration Portals for our internal events through Golf Genius while developing them on to Golf Genius Hubs to improve the corporate guest journey. I manage the handicaps for our Clarendon Collection Holders which is a frequent player programme at The Grove. I ensure all the handicaps are under the world handicap system. Creating handicap index’s, inputting scorecards and ensuring all handicap competitions are put through England Golf for handicap adjustments using Golf Genius. Show less Taking on Assistant Operations Manager carried over all the roles and responsibilities from my previous role. In addition I was responsible for the Taylormade Rental Sets along with the repair and upkeep of our Powakaddy Rental Trolley Fleet. During this time, I had a team of 5 reporting into me from the Operations Team. I would carry out one to one’s regularly, creating Personal Development Plans and ensuring the team members were getting the most from myself whilst seeing development within their current role. When the Golf Operations Manager was on annual leave or away from the business I would take on the responsibilities of stock take, managing the Halfway House Staff and sending out Rosters. Show less Within this role, my main responsibilities were to ensure that all Golf Operation Areas were set up correctly and the operation ran smoothly. Acting as Duty Manager during the shifts, monitoring staff and handling complaints. When new team members started, I was responsible for creating training plans and performing training over the first 4 weeks within the role. All the areas across the Operation were to Troon Standard and we worked to 59 Club criteria in all of the following guest journey areas:- Bag DropArrival of guests including directions, rental Items and general assistance with bags. - Practice Facility Keeping the area clean and tidy at all times, the team member would arrive guests down at the driving range informing them of yardages, short game area location and information on the next steps to the guest journey. - StarterEnsuring that the guests are given the correct information about the golf course with key Maintance points (Pin Zone, Pace of Play, Golf Course Maintance). - Players Assistant (PA)The PA’s role out on the golf course is to monitor pace of play set by the field, ensuring every group is seen at least twice across the 18 holes of golf. During this role, the team member would deal with Pace of Play issues and try to improve them with the use of Tagmarshall GPS system. - Closing Welcoming guests off the golf course, explaining the service on offer to the guests after their round. - Locker Room AssistantA Locker Attendant would be point of contact around the gents and ladies lockers offering shoe cleaning services and personalised Bag Tag service. Other responsibilities within this role was roster management, task area delegation and overall operational improvement. I still performed the Tournament Co-ordinator role when needed for business demands. During this time the Operations Team won 59 Club ‘Operation Team of the Year Award’. Ensuring all guests were checked in, selling and assisting guest on retail items or general shop queries and completing jobs that has been passed on by the Head Professional.During this period my main achievements were:- Being trained within the Tournament Co-ordinator role, ensuring that Society Days and Golf Days were ran correctly and as planned by the Event Manager- Being Awarded Ambassador of the Quarter 4 times within this period- Undertaking Junior Camps, Beginner classes and individual lessons for all abilities.
