  During my time as an Operations Assistant, I covered various different subject areas within the business. The main focus of my role was the day to day local management and dispatch of a long term company charter, working in partnership with two major UK airlines. This required immense focus on time management and appreciation industry regulations. Day to day, I was also a handler of private aircraft, with a keen focus on presentation, efficiency and customer service.I also introduced a charity fundraising initiative, that continues to this day, whereby we held tours of the apron and hangars for aircraft enthusiasts and in return, we asked for a donation to either Wales Air Ambulance or Childflight.   My primary duty was to operate the onboard survey equipment during missions in various parts of the UK and Europe. I also assisted the P1/Captain with the operation of the aircraft, taking charge of the radios and various navigation tasks, as part of a multi crew environment.   My main responsibility was too safely and correctly administer a throat and nasal swab test to key frontline workers who visited the test site, and support the overall testing process.   Flying as a First Officer on the Beechcraft King Air 90 and 200 variants. The role combined both Medical Services, including patient repatriation and organ transplant and Charter Services, providing a first-class service to passengers across the UK and Europe. I experienced operating into Category B airfields such as Sion (LSGS) and Cannes (LFMD). Beyond the flying, this role gave me a great appreciation of pre-flight preparation, aircraft husbandry and other operational tasks associated with medical services and corporate aviation. Show less
