      First Executive Director of nonprofit organization founded to provide sustainable, community support services to young men released from jail. Developed successful partnerships with the Board of Education and Department of Correction. Partnered with Board of Directors to set strategy and raise funds. Launched mentoring, peer leadership and job development programs.

      Launched federally funded after school program selected as a model for national replication by the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention. Developed new partnerships with the Board of Education and community organizations to successfully plan and execute after school groups, retreats, parent workshops and case management services. Recruited and directed staff and graduate students.

      Designed, launched and led innovative volunteer corps funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Developed volunteer policies, training and management system and initiated community partnerships. Recruited and placed 300 volunteers. Represented Oxford as a speaker at select community events. Spearheaded special initiatives in the Medicare department, including corporate donations and community collaborations.
