Training Officer in the Royal Navy Reserves

I am and have been a member of the Royal Navy Reserves since October 2012. I have progressed through the ranks to Lieutenant and assist Birmingham's University Royal Naval Unit as their Training Officer. This role compliments my chosen career path and facilitates different challenges in an environment through which I teach the next generation of RN Officers the necessary basic skills of Militarisation and Marinisation. This position is a privilege and an honour, and one that has exposed me to immeasurable experiences valuable to leadership, differentiation, inclusion, organisation and discipline. I believe my experiences in the Royal Navy Reserves have been incremental in shaping my philosophy and approach to teaching and learning. Show less
