Role included:• Managed the operational readiness for the entire Support Department in support of operational mission requirements• Logistics and stores support including localised procurement functions in international (foreign) destinations (Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, East Timor and Australia); • Facilities and services management;• Administration, finance and payroll; • Catering and hospitality including high profile foreign and domestic dignitary hosting and liaison; • Inter-department and local authority (foreign and domestic) liaison;• Risk management & Insurance• Supplier relationship management (shipping agents, utilities providers etc).Other duties included: aviation operations and personnel safety, Officer of the Day duties, and Damage Control Officer responsibilities for Fire, Flood, Medical and Toxic Gas emergencies.
