  During my term in Indonesia I worked for PT Consolidated Services Indonesia as National Operations Manager. A contract period was further allocated to Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc located in Papua training a specialist team of emergency response capabilities. The Grasberg minerals district includes open pit and underground mines. The remote highlands of the Sudirman Mountain Range is in the province of Papua, Indonesia, which is on the western half of the island of New Guinea.

  In 2009, Grocon conducted the bushfire clean up after the devastating Black Saturday fires across Victoria which killed 171 people and destroyed more than 3000 properties. The priority was to clean sites as quickly as possible so people could rebuild if they wished. Grocon employed staff on short term contracts focusing very much on community liaision, as dealing with the affected regions took a lot of individual care and attention. The safety role really had no historical measurement therefore we drew support from the experienced team Grocon put together. Show less

  My role successfully developed and promoted an improved workplace relations framework thereby ensuring all stakeholders covered by the new system could work fairly, efficiently and productively. The new framework laws considered Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (BCIIP Act), Fair Work Act 2009 (FW Act), Building Code 2013, Building Code 2016 and other building and construction industry workplace relations laws. Further duties included the monitoring and ensuring close out of internal and external OHS/WHS audits. My role and responsibilities include strategic leadership of Delta's behavioural safety programs including various Environmental Health and Safety initiatives such that the group maintains and builds upon our reputation as proactive best-in-class corporate citizens. My IMS management role requires the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Delta Group Integrated Management System. We now have 7 companies throughout the Delta Group achieved ISO9001, ISO45001, ISOI4001 and ISO31000 accreditation. I wrote, trained and presented the IMS to gain OFSC accreditation for Delta Pty Limited and CMA Contracting Pty Limited (2017). My position also serves as the lead investigator for complex matters in preparing briefs of defense for legal departments, and as a senior representative for the company I liaise with a variety of external entities including Federal, State, and Local Agencies, Customers, Suppliers, industry related groups, and various government, and community agencies.
