Upon promotion in 2017, co-supervised full scope of Callen-Lorde’s HIV prevention programming across multiple grants, funded by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygene, the New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute, and the US Centers for Disease Control.Supervised front line HIV testing staff (Prevention & Outreach Providers) in the clinic. Assisted in the grant writing process that secured a $1,000,000, five-year award from the New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute for PrEP implementation. Participated in data, evaluation, and strategic planning initiatives to monitor and improve PrEP Service Delivery.Worked in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer to instate a series of trainings for neighboring Federally Qualified Health Centers to improve and expand PrEP delivery in New York City and State. Participated in the New York State “Ending the Epidemic” Young Adult Advisory Committee, a group for individuals under 30 with histories of leadership and dedication to addressing HIV prevention and treatment strategies.Provide HIV/STI testing and counseling services at Callen-Lorde’s sexual health clinic. Acted as part of the pilot group for Callen-Lorde’s new 17th Street sexual health clinic, where uninsured members of the LGBT community were redirected to seek out STI screenings and PrEP. Developed and piloted walk-in HIV testing models for Callen-Lorde’s main clinic with prevention & outreach management team to create the model for HIV testing that has been successfully implemented in the clinic today.
