      Cataloger, Britten Thematic Catalogue Project

      Based at the Britten-Pears Foundation, this position was responsible for the analysis, arrangement, and description of the source material that the Britten Thematic Catalogue is centered on. Additional responsibilities included the development of the catalog’s technical infrastructure and support of daily library operations at the Britten-Pears Foundation. This support included research assistance, supervision of patrons and volunteers when working with archival materials, and instruction on the use of the library’s various e-resources and catalogs.       Leads Digital Special Collections and Access, a unit that provides leadership, services, and strategic direction that facilitates access to digitized and born-digital special collections content across Yale Library. Directly oversaw Music Special Collections (including Historical Sound Recordings and Oral History of American Music), including arrangement and description, preservation, digitization, access, research services, events programming, and exhibits. The role also included leading a Yale Library-wide project to develop a new digital collections platform and a centralized digitization service for the library. This role managed circulation services, including course reserves and resource sharing, as well as a wide range of digital services, including e-resources, digitization projects, digital preservation, and digital access initiatives at the Gilmore Music Library. It also oversaw archival arrangement and description projects and practices for the library.
