  Provide Project and Telecommunication Network management and support to manufacturing site (500 employees) for the world’s largest supplier of semi-conductor manufacturing equipment consisting of 6 buildings (1 off site) 138,000sq ft.Major AchievementsProject managed upgrade/replacement of BT Infastructure Project managed change of telephone system to Avaya Definity. Liaising with vendors/global project managers to strategic implementation plan within budget of £200k. Change was over a period of 3 months, designed and delivered training program for 500 employees, accomplishing within the 3 month system changeover.Computer room re-location, consisting of 10 servers, telephone system (500 extensions), working with vendors within £300k budget. Achieved a saving of £35k, with minimal disruption. Within new shell of building (58,300 sq ft) to implement all IT infrastructures to house 220 heads. Budget of £100k. Completed project 3 weeks ahead of schedule and within budget saving £10k. Successfully achieved £21k saving on Mobile Telephone contract review plus 200 handsets FOC, (annual spend £82k.) Achieved 10 to 15% savings annually for past 6 years.Landline telephone contract review. Meetings with major landline service providers to obtain cost reduction. Achieved £40k saving on annual landline spends of £144k. Reducing cost of between 5% and 10% for the past 6 yearsSolely responsible for all departmental moves both on and off site.
