  I was tasked with taking care of up to fourteen campers at one time. I created fun, unique, and engaging games for the campers to play. I worked with a co-counselor to take turns running activities and planning the schedule.

  Teaching Assistant

  Teaching Assistant for Isenberg School of Management Intro to Diversity and Inclusion in Business course. In this role, I teach 2 sections and lead weekly discussions about topics such as dimensions of diversity, unconscious bias, inclusive leadership, global cultural competency, and allyship. Responsibilities include creating a welcoming and safe environment for students to learn, grading of assignments, meeting with students, and preparing lessons.

  Human Resources Benefits Intern

  Throughout the summer I got to work in multiple areas of Human Resources. I participated in candidate interviews and observed the recruiter life-cycle. I lead a team of 3 in assessing the current state and proposing a redesign of the onboarding process. Additionally, conducted an employee survey and analyzed the results to support the onboarding project. In the compensation department, I audited and refined the existing compensation structures in Workday to create standardized job-leveling descriptions and meaningful placement in pay ranges and compensation grades. Finally, in benefits, I created informational brochures on leaves for each of the 14 states that offered additional state disability and family leave as well as general disability leave. I also learned about the company policies and benefits to launch the paperwork for the tuition reimbursement program. Show less
