This includes dark fiber ring engineering, sonnet and circuit switched networks for cell to switch and switch to CO. Brought regional Telecom spend on track and under budget ($6.271 million under budget in 2009, $5.14 million under in 2008, and significant savings in 2006-2007).o Savings a result of planning and directing efficient path engineering, interexchange and local high bandwidth optimization, efficient SONET engineering, DS3/T1 disconnects, use of Dark Fiber/Private Rings, Trunk Group utilization/management, redeployment of existing circuits, and billing scrubs/disputes. Directed engineering, project management and deployment of NNJ’s first Dark Fiber DWDM ring. Managed first private SONET OC192 ring in Wayne MSC. 120 DS3s with a planned savings is approximately $92,000/month. Converted regions T1s to Ethernet Backhaul to support 3G/4G services. Many cell/switch rehomes, OC 192 SONET node ads, microwave path design/deployments, etc. Show less Development and monthly upkeep of Network Performance Analysis, extensive companywide performance result reporting, corporate/regional goal creation and assessment for all of the Verizon Wireless markets.
