      Assistant Manager Operations Work Control

      Performed planning and scheduling of Operations activities during Refueling Outage preparations. The MRC provided oversight and review of Nuclear Notifications to ensure proper actions were applied to correct problems and identify proper Cause Evaluations.Provided coaching and discipline for Station workers to enforce safety and performance standards.Utilized Primavera P-6 scheduling software to assist in the scheduling of testing and maintenance activities.Instrumental in the development and implementation of the SCE/SONGS/North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) plan for AURORA II mitigation.Led the SONGS Switchyard Oversight Committee to provide multi-agency coordination of switchyard activities.Main author of several Operational Decision-Making (ODM) documents to align Station priorities and document the SONGS perspective.Maintained a current NRC Senior Reactor Operator license.       Provide real-time oversight of the SCE high-voltage transmission grid. Monitors power flow across the 50,000 sq mile SCE service territory to ensure system reliability. Coordinates transmission outages and emergent work with the California Independent System Operator (CAISO). Interfaces with other utility entities within the Western Electric Coordinating Council (WECC) area.
