This position brings strategic leadership to brand management while showcasing the creative impact of storytelling across all Student Life experiences to align with that of the University of Delaware and the Division of Student Life. This position reports to the Division of Student Life but has a strong relationship with UD’s Office of Communication and Marketing.This position also works to identify and implement operational efficiencies for the Student Life Communications & Marketing Team to ensure optimal service execution and coordination of communications and marketing efforts across the Division. The Communications Manager, Creative & Operations, leads the Egg Marketing Agency, which employs 20+ student interns annually and serves all division areas. This position oversees the development and management of all aspects of the program, including hiring, team placement, project management, and professional development. The student-focused content feeds several other areas of the university including Student Life, the Office of Communications and Marketing, Admissions, and Alumni Relations.Annually this area produces more than 575 print designs, maintains seven distinct websites, produces content for two outdoor LED signs and 16 digital displays, manages 6 separate social media channels, captures photos from 48 events, creates multiple UDaily stories, and creates a multitude of promotional and documentary-type videos.Leads and supervises a creative team consisting of one staff member and team of twenty student interns, designers, content writers, photographers, videographers, multimedia producers, etc., who are responsible for the design, development, and production of creative collateral across a wide range of projects and media in service to the Student Centers and it's 400+ Registered Student Organizations.Facilitates experiential learning opportunities, student instruction, and a portfolio of works that establish the Egg Student Creative Agency's program narrative and experience value propositions.
