      Development of Digital Biomarkers for Recovery after Knee Injury and Surgery:This research involved using the OPUM Digital Knee sensor to assess the feasibility of collecting large lab-quality biomechanical and patient reported data sets of adults with various knee conditions to inform population norms. This research will support the future use of the technology as a remote patient monitoring tool which will help reduce inequities in access to patient care.My Masters Thesis project will be an extension of this research this year. I have the priveledge to be mentored by Chelsea Lane, a Performance Therapist with 20 years’ experience working with elite and professional athletes. She has two championship rings from her time as Director of Performance and Sports Medicine… Show more This scholarship was awarded for my final years of the Masters of Physiotherapy Practice studies at The University of Auckland. The scholarship challenges and develops students in the leadership space, who care deeply about the future of Aotearoa. She has two championship rings from her time as Director of Performance and Sports Medicine with NBA champions the Golden State Warriors and was Vice President of Athletic Performance and Sports Medicine for the Atlanta Hawks. Chelsea was the first ever woman to oversee a NBA’s training department.
