  - Serving as the Secondary Board Representative by acting as the liaison for the 200,000+ secondary members on the Board of Directors of the largest CTSO that is 100% healthcare- As an IEC member, my aim is to serve as a voice for a membership of over 282,000 students and 3.1+ million alumni members; working to dare to create initiatives to better allocate resources and offer guidance, provide vast opportunities, and allow for career-building connections through industry partnerships for the members; primarily work to host the 2023 Washington Leadership Academy and 2024 International Leadership Conference -Attended 2 partnership conferences to represent HOSA-FHP at the N.C.H.S.E. Conference and the ACTE VisionTech Conference; adovcated and promoted HOSA-FHP's mission to advisors and aided them in any capacity, collaborated with companies and organizations in the healthcare/education sector to create potential partnerships and sponsorships for HOSA-FHP, and networked with leaders in the healthcare industry- Attended the ACTE National Policy Seminar in D.C.; spoke at the Senate House where I advocated for HOSA-FHP and for career technical education throughout the nation; shared my HOSA story and the impact of this organization on the lives of many with the executives of ACTE and with senators and congressman who focus on CTE advocacy; met with and networked with the 7 other nationally recognized CTSOs by the U.S. Department of Education - Attended 7 membership conferences (NJ HOSA FLC, NRC, and SLC; PENN HOSA SLC, Nebraska HOSA SLC; soon to attend Cal HOSA SLC and Ohio HOSA SLC) where I hosted workshops regarding professional development, social media utilization, healthcare careers, and advocating for your HOSA story; assisted the state officer team and the staff in any capacity; and gave keynote speeches and remarks to the general membership- Throughout the entire year, served as the Content Creation Co-Lead, Primary Video Producer, and Social Media Co-Manager Show less - Worked with a team of leaders to represent, serve, and go beyond all limits for the 5,000+ members of NJ HOSA; worked to transition the state organization from a time of virtual-COVID activity to in-person conferences and events; helped to re-establish member and chapters throughout the state and invigorate NJ HOSA after a dip in membership statistics during COVID- Worked with my team to host 4 state-wide conferences for the membership of NJ HOSA: the 2022 Fall Leadership Conference, the 2023 Northern Regional Conference, the 2023 Southern Regional Conference, and the 2023 State Leadership Conference; hosted workshops, managed the membership, and worked with staff to make the conference possible from start to finish - Curated social media content for the NJ HOSA Instagram and Facebook throughout the year such as Conference Countdowns and Wellness Wednesdays; edited and published vlogs of major events throughout the year on the NJ HOSA YouTube Channel (WLA, NRC, SRC, and SLC); created and published three NJ HOSA seasonal newsletters throughout the year- Worked with team to lead the creation of a statewide member engagement initiative to promote well-rounded HOSA experience (Chapter Standards of Excellence) Show less
