  • Review of purchase documents and material certificates for documentation purpose, with respect to codes/engineering drawing/specification.• Review of design documents drawings, all applicable documents such as scope of work, quality plan procedures and code.• Visual inspection for external & internal surface of equipment.• Recommendations for corrective measures, replacement, modifications to prevent failures prior to hydro test.• To review drawings and specifications with a view to check design and material requirements, quality control of various similar/dissimilar metal welding.• Control welding activities such as before fit-up, during fit-up, during welding and after welding as per relevant WPS and Specifications.• Conducting visual inspection on the welding joints and take corrective actions.• Witness hydro test of equipment and piping.• To check the fit-up stages and root gap, root face, bevel angle, including angle, mismatch and Internal cleanliness of bevel surface and adjacent area within the acceptable limit.• Familiar with radiographic interpretation of weld joints, inspection and liquid penetration test, magnetic particle test, ultrasonic testing, reporting and documentation.• Agitator inspection at vendor.
