      Department Head for HMNH Operations team which provided critical support to all aspects of the museum mission including exhibitions, public programs, and education. Managed daily operations for Harvard Museum of Natural History (merged into HMSC 2012), the public face of 3 research museums: The Museum of Comparative Zoology, The Mineral and Geological Museum, and The Botanical Museum. Directed day to day operations for Harvard’s most visited museum open 361 days per year, with more than 200K annual visitors which included 30,000 plus K – 12 students, and Retail Shop which grossed over $500K per year for the last 10 years. Managed complex relationships with University Operations services including FMO and local building managers, Securitas Security, HUPD, HUIT, and Campus Service Center in order to leverage support for projects and programs, which helped facilitate the museum mission. In charge of the complete development and implementation process of two Point of Sale (POS) systems (NCR CounterPoint SQL and Outbound Electronic Reservation Systems). Managed complex negotiations and stringent contracts with 3 vendors to bring the project live in 18 months and ensure compliance with strict Payment Card Industry (PCI) and University security standards. • Discretionary spending and management of $1M budget.• Managed staff of 10+ people, including two grade 54 supervisors.• Systems Administrator for POS SQL databases, responsible all museum revenue, admissions, and demographics reporting.• Took over museum event rental program in FY11, 50% increase in gross revenue in the first year.
