      Serve as the Deputy for Operations / Chief Operating Officer for the National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II) the world's newest and brightest synchrotron light source recently completed at a cost of $1 billion, with a staff of 350 people and an annual operating budget of $110 million. The facility start-up is completed, with early operations in progress along with design, construction and installation of 28 beamlines, and the beginning of experiments by visiting scientists from around the globe. Responsibilities include oversight of all facets of operations. Current assignments include managing the start-up of the National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS II) the Laboratory's newest accelerator facility. This newly constructed, $1Billion facility is entering the completion/commissioning phase with completion targeted for 2014.
