  Since becoming Mayor, Dabbs has worked diligently to support, or help establish multiple community programs, to name a few: Restored the School Resource Officer Program to Bryant Public Schools, Keeping Bryant Beautiful, Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council, Healthy Bryant Coalition, established Bryant’s Mayor’s Office of Volunteer Services. Also under her leadership Bryant’s street construction and storm water management has been improved to insure quality infrastructure is put in place that will serve the residents for years to come reserving tax dollars to repair what is old, not what was poorly constructed. Construction projects to alleviate future flooding of homes The public works department has been restructured to be more efficient outsourcing all the cities engineering needs in order to insure quality work at a competitive price. The IT department has also been outsourced bringing the cities technology resources and infrastructure into the 21st Century while saving thousands of tax dollars and providing a higher quality IT service. The aging police fleet was replaced in 2012 and updated in 2016 with the funding plan that was put in place to fund future fleet needs. In 2016 Mayor Dabbs led the City of Bryant to pass a 24 million bond reissuance with 72% approval rate. All of the above mentioned accomplishments were done with existing tax revenues without raising any taxes. Show less

  Mayor is similar to a COO of any midsize corporation. In addition to insuring each city department is operating efficiently and effectively for the citizens of Bryant it is my responsibility to lead Bryant towards growing into the city of its potential. Long term planning is more important than ever when a city is in a state of constant growth. It is imperative that our growth is positive and thoughtful enough that we become a real place and not just another suburban city along an American Interstate. Show less
