  Jane loves the idea of repurposing just about anything; taking something that has been discarded or appears to have no value or purpose, and discovering its beauty in a new way. The possibilities are endless, like turning an old broken church window into a shelf unit, or an old unusable stand up piano into a bench. Often times in life we can feel the same. And, it takes someone on the outside with a new perspective to shine the light on the value that has been created in us. Jane has that gift.Jane received her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor in Fine Arts, from Metropolitan University in 1997. She also completed the Master of Arts in Counseling Program at Colorado Christian University in 2010. She began her counseling career in 2008 as an intern in a Domestic Violence Shelter and with a private practice meeting with individuals and groups. As a longtime volunteer Victim Advocate, for the Colorado State Patrol and presently with Victim Outreach, her experience has led her to helping those who have experienced trauma, vicarious trauma, grief and loss.
